Dubai International Airport

Dubai International airport is 4 km (2.5 miles) south-east of the city center and is positioned at latitude 25° 25 N, longitude 55° 36 E. The Dubai Airport is the fastest growing airport in the Middle East and has been nominated the best airport in 2002 and 2003 by a survey carried out by IATA (International Air Transport Association).

1. Terminal 2 Completion Works

Situated to the North of Terminal 1, the single-storey Terminal-2 caters to low cost carriers, scheduled, charter, and flights dedicated to events such as Hajj. It also serves Fly Dubai- the low cost carrier recently launched in Dubai.

2. Terminal 1 Expansion Works

The first and the oldest of the 3 Terminals in Dubai, Terminal 1 now caters to all international airlines except Emriates which shifted operations to the newly opened Terminal-3. During the transition period, the terminal went through several expansion work phases.
